Rose Likes Team Around Him

Guard Derrick Rose was quoted in the press that he thought the players slotted around him was
the best team assembled since he has been a member of the Bulls.

In other words, he likes this new team that management has put together. A lot. The spacing on the court could be the best it's ever been for Rose to make a last second assist or drive to the hoop.  He should have plenty of opportunities to hit from medium range or take the open trey.  Rookie F Doug McDermott will be the beneficiary of this new look offense.  He and others will take a lot of pressure off of Rose.  If Derrick can only stay healthy.

It's a good thing players were not moved in an effort to get Kevin Love which is difficult to say knowing how good Love is as a player.  If he keeps going like he is, he will likely make the Hall of Fame. But will he make his rumored destination, the Cleveland Cavaliers better?.... Probably yes.

Due to the horrific leg injury to Paul George in a Friday night scrimmage for Team USA, George suffered a compound fracture of his leg, breaking two major bones, It looks like he will miss the entire season next year and this will greatly impact the Pacers.  Totally overshadowed in this game was the play of Rose, who dunked the ball aggressively, and scored in a variety of ways to signal that Rose was on the comeback trail.  NBA, look out.

With a healthy Derrick Rose, who knows how good the Bulls can be?  Knock on wood, we will soon find out.
